Ulysse Nardin opens its first boutique shop in China at Harmony World Watch Centre in Xian, a city of 7 million people and China’s former capital during the Tang Dynasty. The opening ceremony was officiated by the President of Ulysse Nardin, Mr. Rolf W. Schnyder, and the CEO of Harmony World Watch Centre, Mdme Juan Fang.

“This showroom offers the perfect environment to present, explain, educate and serve our customers about our watches and their inside mechanisms as well as the 158-year history and story of Ulysse Nardin”, Mr. Rolf W. Schnyder said.

The boutique, the first ever in China, is located within Harmony’s Xian Flagship Store with over 2,000 m2 floor-space retailing high-end Swiss watches, and houses different models of Ulysse Nardin, including some of its rare specialties and some of the most desired items for enthusiastic watch lovers.

The Ulysse Nardin collection is in the proud tradition of quality and mechanical innovation. Its consistent excellence had also been recognized by the award of 18 international gold medals and 4,300 first prizes in chronometric excellence.

Mr. Schnyder said Ulysse Nardin chose Xian to open its first ever boutique because of its central location within China, offering an excellent and strategic position and providing a stepping stone for Ulysse Nardin to entrench the whole Mainland in the near future.
