The Barenia watch is a result of blending tradition and innovation. Its distinctive feature is the leather strap, featuring an ingenious fastening system directly derived from the traditional Hermes craft of saddlemaking. Dispensing with the need for a conventional buckle, the Barenia is fastened using a clou de selle (saddle tack), and the strap therefore folds back on itself. This system is a first in the watchmaking industry and is protected by a patent. Unlike other Hermes watches, Barenia’s leather strap is unstitched and unlined, providing the indulgence of superior suppleness.

Besides regular strap colors of natural, ebony, and black, new ones are available in Spring colors such as orange, vermilion, blue jeans and white. Dial colors can be chosen from white, silver and dark grey.

Barenia comes in ladies and gents sizes, with a 39cm strap for gents and a shorter, 35cm, version for ladies.
